"The day started very well. The tyres are pretty quick compared to the Bridgestones. That's what matters at this point - to be competitive and push. But compared to other weekends the car is set-up wise different, we found a few things which I didn't run in the afternoon so it was difficult to really make much progress. The car is sideways a lot - but at least you can lean on the tyres so it's OK. Tomorrow we should be competitive - we should be able to fight back."

"Another tough day - things were slightly better than San Paolo. We have another Goodyear tyre, which seems to be competitive - that's good. We just have to get the car working a little bit better on these tyres and be competitive in the race. At least now we seemed to have cured the oversteer we've had all season - but we now have some understeer. We should be able to find the extra time on the set-up - so we are just going to work hard tonight and try to do a strong race tomorrow."

"Well I hit David. He tried to overtake me on the outside. I made a mistake on the previous corner so I stayed on the inside for the next one and he tried to get me on the outside. When he turned in he wasn't completely in front of me and I had nowhere to go. So in a way I'm the one that hit him - who knows whose fault it is - it doesn't really matter at this point. The first part of the race went pretty well and somehow we hit traffic at the wrong time and couldn't keep the speed going - everybody ended up pitting out in front of us - I was a little bit surprised and disappointed."
