Свободные заезды (пятница):
"During the first session this morning I was very happy with the tyres. With
respect to the qualifying session tomorrow and Sunday's race, I can not predict very much
because I only did a total of 16 laps today. Fourteen minutes into the second practice
session I had a crash with Tuero. Obviously I was very late braking, yet Esteban was quite
slow - I don't know whether he was warming his tyres, for instance. This accident cost me
the rest of my session, unfortunately."
Квалификация (суббота):
"I am disappointed with my position on the grid. The tests in Barcelona went well
and I expected, at least, a second row result for today. We made a step forward with the
new Goodyears, yet another teams with them appeared to make a bigger improvement. Both
Jacques and I have to work even harder to use the potential of our Williams FW20."

"The front wing end-plate broke at the beginning - but I don't know why because I
didn't touch anything or anyone. This meant I had to reduce speed from the start. My first
pit-stop was bad as I stalled my engine and then had to make another unscheduled stop for
a ten second penalty as I was speeding in the pit-lane coming out from the first stop. I
had no chance after that to really close the gap on the cars in front of me."
