"I always enjoy coming to Buenos Aires as most of the drivers do. The circuit is not very challenging for the drivers but is tricky because normally the track is quite slippery and bumpy. So it is easy to spin off. Furthermore overtaking is a problem therefore a good qualifying result is as important as to pick the right pit stop strategy."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"I am happy with the new wider front tyres from Goodyear. They have helped us to close the gap here. We also have some improvements on the car so maybe we can catch up with one of the McLaren drivers. Overall it looks as though they are one second quicker but looking at the section times I was quicker on the first section and only a couple of tenths slower in the other sections, so in reality we are only two or three tenths off the pace. I am therefore much happier than I was in Brazil, especially as we seem to be pulling away from Williams a bit."

Квалификация (суббота):
"We can see the results of the improvements we made at the last Barcelona test and I would also say a big thank you to Goodyear for giving us a good tyre which has allowed us to improve our set-up. The engine is much the same as in Brazil although we have improved the mapping. A miracle has happened so that I am between the two McLarens and not so far behind the pole. I feel that maybe now we can go where we want to go. Tomorrow I hope we have a clean race with dry weather. The first corner will be very important and I am happy we have improved our starts at the last test."

Гонка (воскресенье):
"I did not make a good start and I will have to look into that. As far as the incident with Coulthard is concerned, he had already run wide at that point on the previous lap so I went for the gap but he seemed to close the door. I did not want to lift off as I felt I had the momentum to get through. The car was damaged and it suffered from understeer in right hand corners. I had to push really hard to be able to make the second pit stop without losing the lead and the boys did a great job under pressure to get me out quickly. Towards the end, it began to drizzle and I lost control where the track surface was shiny. I had seen people have trouble there in the warm-up so I did not even try and brake because I knew where the escape road was. At Imola we can be even stronger as we should make another step forward after testing next week. The new tyres were very consistent."
