Свободные заезды (пятница):
"I am quite happy with my car today. In between the two sessions we switched the
front set-up to be the same as Michael's and that was an improvement. I think we can go
quicker because I badly flat spotted the front tyres going over the bumps. Generally the
bumps are not upsetting the handling, except under braking. The wide front tyre is a help
as it is more forgiving if you miss the correct line in a corner. This is partly why we
are closer to the McLarens. Tomorrow we will have the 047d engine which gives us a bit
more power."
Квалификация (суббота):
"Although the second row is a good result, I am very disappointed because this was
my worst qualifying performance of the season but my best result. I made a mistake on my
fastest run, then there were yellow flags on another run and Diniz held me up badly at one
point. My last run was very cautious as I had to make sure I got a good time but not take
any risk. I think today I could have been up with Michael or even quicker. The F 300 is a
good car and the new front tyre and the new set-up we found at our last test have both
been a step forward. I used the new engine today but on a slow track like this it does not
make a real difference. The car is always good in race trim so I am optimistic for
tomorrow."

"I am very pleased with this performance and the car felt well balanced. My
biggest problem was inside the cockpit where a bolster to stop my legs banging kept
working loose and I had to keep pushing it back into place down the straights. At one
point it nearly went into the footwell. I had a good fight with Wurz. He got past me when
I locked up and went wide when the rain started. We did touch but there was no damage and
off we went again. Then he lost control and I was back on the podium."
