Свободные заезды (пятница):
"We got lots of work done today, despite the rain which held everybody up. The changes we made improved the handling of the car and I feel very satisfied with where we finished the day. I cannot really comment on the effect of the new wings because I have not run with this year's car on this track without them. But if you look at the times we are quite close to everyone else - that is if you are speaking about 'Formula 2,' not Formula 1 i.e McLaren!"

Квалификация (суббота):
"This is a great result, although I feel annoyed with myself as well as happy because I came so close to doing even better. On my final run I was one tenth up in T1 and T2 but then overbraked into the last corner so could not hold on to third place which had looked good for quite a while! I am really happy for the whole team as they have done a great job this weekend improving the car at each session, and now we have the result this deserves. The car has run really very well all weekend. The target now has to be to finish the race!"

"I slipped the clutch and the wheels spun so I had a really bad start which left me in 13th position. I was then stuck behind Barrichello and could not overtake him. Then the rear of the car became more and more nervous and I spun. I thought it was the brake pressure so I called to come into the pits. The team checked the car while we changed tyres, but it seemed ok. But then I spun again and when I got out of the car I saw that the rear suspension (top wishbone) was broken."
