Из высказываний
Свободные заезды (пятница):
"We had some hydraulic problems this morning, but made some good improvements this
afternoon and I am quite satisfied with the time we did. I had a spin which was obviously
my mistake - I tried to brake a bit too late. I think we should have good balance again
tomorrow and I would hope to be between 5th and 7th place in qualifying. We are definitely
heading towards a better car and are optimistic for good results by mid-season at the
latest. San Marino is a good circuit for us - we were competitive here last year and it
looks as if we are again. It is quite a difficult circuit as you have to brake very late
and race hard every lap which does not make it very easy to set up your car, but we are
doing a good job of it."
Квалификация (суббота):
"I am not too disappointed with this result as all the top times are very close
together. I don't think 9th place is too bad although if I had not made a mistake in the
second section of my last run, when I went off onto the grass, I would have done a better
time. The main thing is that the car is much more driveable this weekend and so things
look much better for the race."
Гонка (воскресенье):
"I am very happy to have finished the race, but disappointed not to have finished
in the points. The start was much better this time and the first half of the race went
well, but after my second pit stop I had problems with a loss of air valve pressure which
meant I was not able to go quicker. I also had a problem with the fuel flap which kept
opening and caused loss of downforce which upset the balance of the car. It also meant we
lost time in the pits stops trying to secure it back into place."
