Свободные заезды (пятница):
"This morning we experimented with a new set-up which turned out to be unsuitable for this circuit. So, in the afternoon, we went back to a more traditional set-up. Unfortunately, a clutch problem prevented me from completing our programme today and, as a consequence, it's hard to know how competitive we are. We will see tomorrow!"

Квалификация (суббота):
"The mechanics did everything to allow me to do the qualifying session. They worked hard without giving up for a moment. I really want to say 'thank you!' Both yesterday and today we suffered with gearbox problems and I missed this morning's session. In qualifying, the car was okay and improved constantly, but not enough to do a good time."

"I made a very good star and immediately moved up six places. My car went very well during the first half of the race. I was fighting with the Benettons. But after my first pit-stop, with new tyres, the car did not feel so good. I was sliding very much and, finally, I had a problem with my accelerator pedal which was the reason I went out. Overall, I did not have much luck this weekend."
