"We lost all of the morning session with a fuel line coupling problem and that put
us behind during the afternoon session. Nevertheless, we made good progress with the
chassis set-up this afternoon, and there are several Ford-powered drivers who were just
marginally faster than me today, so I will be aiming to get ahead of them tomorrow in
qualifying."
Квалификация (суббота):
"I must admit, I was a little worried when the engine failed in my car right at
the beginning of the qualifying session, but as it turned out, it was maybe a stroke of
good luck. After a couple of adjustments to the spare car, I found I generally preferred
the feel of it to my race car around here and that helped me to set my time. There are
several other Ford-powered cars on the grid immediately in front of me, so my goal will be
to get the jump on them at the start tomorrow and then aim to stay ahead."

"I had quite an exciting first lap! I made a good start and passed four or five
cars, but then had to go on the grass to avoid the rear wing from Barrichello's Stewart
that was bouncing on the track after he had been hit by his team-mate. I managed to keep
the car pointing in a straight line and regained the circuit, but unfortunately I lost all
the places I gained at the start. Fortunately, I didn't damage the car, and after that, I
just tried to settle down into a consistent rhythm until the pit stops. The team did a
really good job with both of these, and turned the car around very quickly. Like Tora, I
was looking forward to a top-10 finish."
