Свободные заезды (пятница):
"Hockenheim is a tricky circuit consisting of long straights interspersed with three chicanes, and then a very tortuous route through the stadium. We have to reduce the aerodynamic resistance of the cars to reach high speeds on the straights, but without reducing grip too much on the slow sections. It's very hard to find just the right compromise. Even if Jarno and I can make some improvements to the tuning, we mustn't get too carried away. With the Prost AP10 engine as it currently stands, I think we'll be satisfied if we come halfway up the field in the qualifying round. That will allow us to set off on Sunday's race from a position that gives us every chance of earning our first points of the season."

Квалификация (суббота):
"It hasn't been my day, really. Coming off the track during this morning's free trials meant that I wasn't able to finish my tuning adjustments, and I had to use the back-up car for the qualifying round. That meant that I lost a lot of time. Once again, the team worked really hard to give me the best chance of success, and I did notice that I improved my time with each run. Unfortunately, we had lost half a day's work, and that's not something you can easily catch up on."

Гонка (воскресение):
"I was penalized twice during this race. First by the ten-second 'stop and go' penalty, and then by a puncture. It's a shame. We really have to work on our performance because we are a long way behind the leaders in the field. However, the good news is that both Jarno and I crossed the finishing line!"
