Свободные заезды (пятница):
"Today I drove the Hockenheim circuit for the first time with an F1 car and I must
say that I found this circuit being much more demanding, compared to my previous
experience I had here, in Formula 3000 - mostly because of the bumpy configuration, which
makes it difficult to control the braking. I would have preferred to stay longer on the
track, to become more confident with it but, after a quite satisfying first practice
session, in which we worked hard to set the car the best way, in the second session I just
completed one lap, because of a problem with the gearbox."
Квалификация (суббота):
"I made my qualifying time with the T-car, that I had to take because the engine
of my car literally blew-up after 5 laps. I went quickly back to the box and I stepped
into the T-car, which was anyway ready for me and set up just like my race car. On my
third run, then, I had a flat tyre and on the following one, with last tyre set, I gained
my best time."
Гонка (воскресение):
"Today I finished my 3rd Grand Prix of my first Formula 1 season, even if
with some problems. In fact, I had to make my pit-stop early because a flap on the rear
wing - due to the vibrations - had broken off. A few laps later I had some problems with
the gearbox, which I got lucky over, and I managed to finish the race at a quite constant
pace. It has been a very demanding Grand Prix as this is a very difficult track, which
does not allow you any error margin and requires maximum concentration."
