Свободные заезды (пятница):
"We improved the car a lot from this morning. We have made a lot of changes and I am very happy with the job we have done. We still have a lot of work to do because the car is still too nervous at the rear: We have understeer at the entry to corners and this becomes oversteer. In the afternoon, the track was better, but the temperatures were higher so that was worse. Tomorrow, I hope to qualify in the first six."

Квалификация (суббота):
"In the morning, I found a very good set-up. I do not know why the car became so difficult to drive during the afternoon qualifying session, probably because of the higher temperature. We tried to improve the set-up, but we went in the wrong direction. I had to try to do a quicker lap with a car that was very difficult to drive. Unfortunately, the track was very dirty at the end of the session and I could not improve at all. I am really very disappointed because it will be difficult to have a very good race starting from the fifth row, but, of course, I will try."

"I was fighting with Frentzen for the 6th position. I do not know what happened, but the car suddenly lost grip. It probably happened because of the aerodynamic turbulence caused by Frentzen's car. The car was quite good today and if I had overtaken him I would have been much faster."
