Свободные заезды (пятница):
"Our position today does not look great, but I am not concerned because,
considering the settings we had on the car, I had expected to post slower lap times. The
wind really came up today and it was quite a bit hotter than when we tested here last
week. This made the car more difficult to set up, but it gave us more information to work
from."
Квалификация (суббота):
"The car felt good, especially on my first timed run. But I had quite a lot of
traffic which slowed me down (Johnny Herbert in the first section of my first run and
Irvine in the first section of my fourth run). But when you consider how close the times
are I am quite happy. We should see a good race tomorrow with everyone so close together."

"I must say that the car felt really very good and when I was alone on the circuit
I was able to put in some good times. The tyres also felt ok, but to be honest we do need
a little more power to help us in overtaking. I had thought that it would have been easier
to overtake as the car felt really good and I was often in the right position to overtake,
especially after the last turn, but I was not able to. Basically the car is good and with
a little more improvement in all areas and we could be up there. I did not think the start
itself was too bad, although I did have wheel spin and lost a few positions. Where I
really lost places was in the first two corners where there was a lot of confusion and I
had to go onto the grass. But I am conscious now that when the cars are so close together
I would prefer to avoid the situation by going off onto the grass rather than staying on.
I felt that if I had tried to stay on the track in this situation today I would not have
finished the first lap."
