Свободные заезды (пятница):
"This morning I experimented with the new diffusor that we tried briefly in
testing last week at Magny-Cours, and with our 'Twin Tower' wings. To begin with I had too
much understeer, but by this afternoon we had improved the car. I chose to run the wings,
and was happier with that set-up. We had reduced the understeer, but I think I could have
gone faster still if I hadn't met traffic on my final lap."
Квалификация (суббота):
"My problem today was that my car was still understeering into corners, and we
could not get a good balance. To do the times I was achieving I was having to run on new
tyres and with fuel for only two quick laps. This is a problem that I must work with the
team to solve."

"The incident with Frentzen on the first lap really ruined my race. He tried to
come round the outside and we touched, but when you are in the pack like that everyone is
trying everything that they can...
"The car was understeering as it did in qualifying, though the fuel load made it
slightly better, and after that first lap delay and then my refuelling problem on the
first pit stop, it became very tough for me."
