Свободные заезды (пятница):
"I felt more comfortable switching back to the test set-up we had last week and although there was improvement as indicated by my times towards the end, there is still a fundamental problem with the handling which we will work hard to address. My goal in qualifying is to improve on the times I was running in testing. I now know that is something that I can achieve."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I am happy for myself and happy for the team to make the top 10 after all the disasters we had in Imola. The changes we made to the car are clearly working and we should now be able to move forward from here. To be honest I was interrupted by a yellow flag during the session, and if you look at the times of the cars directly ahead of me I could have been even higher. That can only mean that things are looking good for the race."

"This feels like a new beginning for me and the team. It was a tough race but I really enjoyed myself out there. It feels great to get the two points but we must go on from here and prove that we can produce a winning car. With about five laps to go, I started to think about getting ready for my famous whoop over the radio at the end of a race. But with Villeneuve breathing down my neck I had to keep it all together. The team did a terrific job. My pit stops were great. Together we deserved this result."
