Preview:
"Melbourne is the best street circuit I have driven on. It is as good as any permanent circuit I have raced on. I'm entering the race in a positive frame of mind and I'm feeling good about the car. I am a lot better prepared this season and the new regulations have levelled things out. I hope to achieve my aim of scoring regular points - starting in Melbourne."

Friday Free Practice:
"Even though I didn't cover as many laps as I would have liked, we managed to experiment with gear ratios and the overall set-up. Generally the balance of the car feels good. This is a circuit I like, it suits my driving style and I'm looking forward to tomorrow."

Saturday Qualifying:
"You could say I had a rather unfortunate afternoon. After a late start to the session because of gearbox problems I was caught in traffic which ruined what would have been two fast runs. It was a shame we didn't get a longer run because generally the car felt fine."

Sunday Race:
"I had a good start and gained a couple of places and was ready to race. I was behind Ralf Schumacher who went on the grass by the exit of turn 5. He came back on the circuit but was very slow. I tried to outbrake him coming into turn 6, but unfortunately we touched and that was the end of the Australian Grand Prix for me."
