Свободные заезды (пятница):
"The car reacted very well today and the technical staff did a good teamwork with
Peugeot. We tested different mappings and we did not slide too much, contrary to what we
had expected. With the last set, of tyres, the car was truly very good. But when I went to
do my fastest lap, I was blocked by Barrichello, and I was angry. I touched the barriers.
It was a shame, because I felt I could have gained something better than tenth place. I am
sorry for the team because I have given them aditional work. One thing is certain, it is
that I feel good in the car and I am confident about qualifying on Saturday."
Квалификация (суббота):
"I am very happy because today I got my best qualifying result so far. Basically,
I had no problem with my car throughout the whole weekend and we were able to work well on
the set-ups. Unfortunately, this afternoon, my best laps were ruined -- once by the yellow
flags and then when I found Irvine's car across the track. It's a pity because I could
have done 1:22.00. The team's work was excellent and the car was well-balanced. But Monaco
is always a lottery! With a good race strategy, we can have a good result."

"My first objective was not to lose my place at the start and I did so. I was
keeping pace with Alesi until I started to lose grip. Then, I had a battle with Herbert
who had managed to catch me as I was slowing down. After my first pit-stop, the car was
well-balanced, but still without much grip. At the end, a gear selection problem
forced me to retire."
