Preview:
"It is not a big problem to find a good set up for Magny-Cours. When temperatures are high the surface gets quite slippery, with the grooved tires you slide even move. The pit-lane entrance is a little bit tricky to drive. Last year we could win here. So, I hope we again will have a good result this weekend."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"I am quite happy with today's practice session. In general the car worked well. I had a little bit of oversteer, but it should be easy to cure. As I used only one set of tyres I could not do any better compared to the others. As expected, after the results of last week's test here, it seems that we can now close the gap to the front. As usual on Friday, it is difficult to know what the others are doing and so I am not sure if I can challenge for pole position tomorrow."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I am happy with this result as we are now in a position to make a challenge. This is the closest the gap has been all season. From what we saw in testing last week, my car is very competitive in race trim, even if it lacks a few tenths for qualifying, as we have seen today. I think we will be strong in the race and a lot will depend on tactics. The championship could be very open, as I think we can be this close for the rest of the season, thanks to improvements to the aerodynamics and the tyres."

"I am very happy with this 30th win of my career and, as I have been told, the first one - two finish for Ferrari since 1990. These promising statistics make me feel optimistic about the future. During the race I thought of Eddie, who did a faultless job today and helped to close the gap to only six points. The fact that we both got the jump on the McLarens at the start was a major factor in getting this result. My compliments go to the team and to Goodyear who have worked many night shifts to make this result possible."
