Свободные заезды (пятница):
"For my first run on a circuit that I did not know at all, I think it all went well. The team did a very good job of work and I did all I could to adapt myself to the track as quickly as possible. We started work on the set-up of the car and I did 50 laps today to develop a very high level of confidence and reliability with the car, We still have some more set-up work to do, but I am overall very happy."

Квалификация (суббота):
"We drove this qualifying session in conditions which were truly difficult. The team did a very good job in adapting the car to the wet and, for myself, I did the best I could. Perhaps, we went out a little too early. With another lap, I could have improved my time and finished in between fifth and seventh places. That said, I am happy to start from the fifth row of the grid and we know we have to fight hard if we are to have a good result here in Austria."

"I was not able to find a gear on the grid. My mechanics pushed me to start and on rejoining behind the Safety Car, the clutch broke completely."
