Свободные заезды (пятница):
"I had some problems finding the right set-up during the morning session, but I
had a quite well balanced car for the beginning of the second session. It gave me the
chance to acquire the 5th time... Then we decided to use the new front suspension parts
close to the end of the second session. My mechanics worked very fast and well to give the
opportunity to go on and use this modification. I really believe that we have great
potential with this. Still, even though I did not have enough time to improve my set-up,
at least this gave me a chance to improve mv time. I would have been able to improve more
if I had done another lap. My split times before I came back to the pits showed I was
two-tenths quicker."
Квалификация (суббота):
"In terms of strategy, I think we should have gone out later. That would have
allowed me to do my time in the final seconds when the circuit was drier. It is truly a
pity as I did well this morning in the free session ... and my position was already in the
top 10. Despite all this, I am pleased today to have done my first complete qualifying
session in the rain in Formula One."
Гонка (воскресение):
"It was such a difficult race. I started with a heavy fuel load to make only one
pitstop. I was competitive in the opening laps and reached fifth place. But as the car
became lighter, I did not have the grip necessary to go fast as was the case in the
warm-up. It felt like running on harder tyres than I was on Saturday morning. I pushed
hard all the way. It is a pity, as I would have liked to score some points. The team
worked hard and we deserved them."
