Preview:
"Testing at Monza went reasonably well for me though I was suffering from a migraine on Thursday morning which I could have done without. We tried some new suspension parts which worked well. The circuit is not as challenging as it was and some of the corners are a little slow for my liking. However, looking at the team's performance from last year, we know we have a car which is competitive here."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"We have done a lot of work today with different set-ups and tyres. As a result we have a much better idea of tyre choice for qualifying. Rubens used a different set-up than me and clocked a very quick time towards the end. We will probably use something along the same lines for qualifying. I also tested a new design to the front wing for the first time today and it does seem to provide me with a lot more downforce which is important here at the A1-Ring."

Квалификация (суббота):
"If I had been told yesterday that I would qualify 12th I would have been pleased. However with the conditions the way they were and the circuit getting drier all the time, it was a matter of being on the track at the right time. If I had gone out for my final run one or two minutes later I could have been in the top 10 for sure. I'm confident for the race and today's qualifying almost guarantees an interesting Sunday."

"I made a good start and moved up to 9th. I managed to drive round the early trouble between Diniz and Coulthard but I touched with Wurz a couple of laps later and lost three places. It is disappointing that engine trouble ended my race because the car was feeling good."
