"Both today's sessions were totally different, with the first taking place in the
rain and the second taking place in the dry. This morning we managed to get the car
perfectly balanced and the tyre grip was improving as the track began to dry out. But
during the second set of trials, in the dry, I went into a spin and had to pull out. As a
result I couldn't finish the tuning adjustments. I'll have to do that tomorrow."
Квалификация (суббота):
"I could have done better but I was held up twice during my last run, first by a
Jordan, and then by Michael Schumacher who doing a warm-up lap. The time I lost there
probably cost me two places on the starting grid. However, taking everything into account,
including the fact that I had to abandon the track yesterday, I think I did pretty well. I
have the strong feeling that, despite the problems we had during the trials, we'll be able
to pull ourselves up the field in tomorrow's race. With a full fuel tank, the cars will
ride the bumps a lot better."

"I got off to a very good start. During the first few laps I found myself in with
a group of four other cars which were running very well. My car was also behaving much
better than it was yesterday. My first pit stop was carried out fairly early on, and it
was thanks to the brilliant anticipation of the technical team that I lost a minimum of
time once the front of the race had passed. It was a very good strategy and it earned me
two places, but then I ran into mechanical problems."
