Свободные заезды (пятница):
"After making some initial chassis changes this morning, I was getting quite comfortable with the car and that was reflected in my lap times. On my first out-lap this afternoon, the back end of the car just snapped away from me at the Parabolica as I was feeding power in. I'm not quite sure what happened because I certainly wasn't on the limit, but there was nothing I could do. There was quite a bit of damage and I am sorry that the mechanics now have a lot of work to do to fix it. I will try to put in a good performance in qualifying tomorrow to make up for it."

Квалификация (суббота):
"Considering the changing conditions today and the fact the telemetry indicated my engine was down on power, I am reasonably happy with today's performance. If everything had been perfect, we could have been looking even better. Depending on what the weather does tonight and in the warm-up tomorrow morning, it may well be that the harder compound Goodyears I will use in the race will prove to be an inspired choice!"

Гонка (воскресение):
"I made an excellent start and overtook a couple of cars off the line, but then we got to the first corner and the field had virtually come to a stop. I locked up the brakes to stay on the track but a number of drivers 'short-cut' the corner to their advantage and were not subsequently penalised. As a result, I dropped four or five places. Unfortunately, my front tyres were now flat-spotted and there was such a bad vibration through the steering as a result that I could barely hold the wheel. I fell back until my pit stop on lap 26, when I was able to pick up a fresh set of tyres. These were much better and I was able to run strongly to the end of the race."
