Свободные заезды (пятница):
"Thanks to Alain's advice, I rapidly discovered the difficult areas of the track, thus allowing me to quickly make the correct adjustments. This day of work will be useful for the free trials tomorrow morning that I am going to carry out with the test-car. At the private tests in Barcelona, we noted that the AP 01 B is quicker by a second per lap, and is easier to drive. I think that are performances are going to be greatly improved."

Квалификация (суббота):
"Luckily, I managed to win back two seconds on my next three runs! As you probably know, I only took the wheel of the AP01B this morning, and the tuning set-up that we used on the AP01 yesterday didn't suit it. It would have been easier to switch back to the AP01, but I preferred to look on the positive side and work on developing the performance of the new car. The time we made up on the next runs, after carrying out just a few modifications, proves the AP01B's potential. If I had been using the AP01B since Friday, I would have finished in the top ten for sure."

Гонка (воскресение):
"I found the engine kept cutting out when arrived on the starting grid. Then I couldn't get the car into gear, which is why I had to signal to the team with my arm. We had to carry out an instant tuning adjustment and I ended up setting off at the back of the field. During the first laps I couldn't get past Verstappen and Takagi because of the oil they were burning, but I was finally able to go out on the offensive. The car ran pretty well, but unfortunately I sensed a problem with the engine towards the end of the race, which meant that I had to abandon on the last round. However, I'm still very grateful to the whole team for all the work they've done this season."
