Preview:
"I share Mika's comments about out recent tests and very much look forward to racing at Suzuka, as it is by far my favourite circuit. It's a good track with a variation of corners and quick esses. On a personal note, this will be my last race for Arrows and I hope that I will be able to leave with a good result, the team and Tom in particular deserve that."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"We achieved quite a lot of things today. We ran both sessions with a full tanks, which obviously reflects on my time. We concentrated on trying to find the right set up for the car for tomorrow's qualifying and I believe that we are in good shape. We tried two different compound tyres and were able to make our choice. Our recent test at Silverstone has clearly shown an improvement in performance."

Квалификация (суббота):
"This as been a very difficult day for me as I have caught a very nasty cold and have been feeling extremely unwell. I have been suffering from dizzy spells all day, which of course has not helped me during the qualifying session. I sincerely hope that I will be feeling better for tomorrow's race, as the car and engine's performance have been improved greatly and to leave my team with a fine result."

"I had a good start at the beginning of the race, the balance of the car was good, but after 2 laps I started to have problems with the brakes and I locked the rear wheels badly, which caused me to spin off at the chicane. This proved the end of the race for me. I had the best intentions to leave the team after two years with a positive result, but it was not to be."
