Свободные заезды (пятница):
"The Monaco circuit is extremely difficult, with the secret to a quick lap being consistency. I had a good day in which we did some modifications to the car which seemed to work well. I did however, have a couple of moments during the practice sessions and I was hoping to be a little bit quicker, but we will see what happens on Saturday."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I am extremely happy, especially for the team, because they worked hard to give me a car capable of achieving this pole position, particularly after I touched the armco in the morning and damaged the suspension. It is so important to be up front here because overtaking is almost impossible on this circuit. I am really enjoying what we have achieved today at this special venue."

"I have competed here on seven occasions and have never before finished the race although I did win one point in 1996! To win in Monaco is every driver's dream and to win here today is something special. It is however, only the effort of all the team that has made it possible for me to achieve this result."
