Preview:
"The track is difficult to race on because the fast corners are very tight with long loops and the final corner is ridiculous! The circuit is not situated in the most interesting part of France, which is a shame, but it means that there is nothing to take your mind off the job in hand."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"A fairly straight forward day with no major problems. A brake issue lost me a little bit of time in the second session, but I have good times throughout all the sectors so I seem to be going in the right direction."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I was hoping that I would be challenging for pole position, but in truth I was never really in contention. I had a problem with a couple of corners which were key to my quick lap but none the less, third is a reasonable starting position and one from which I think it is still possible to win the race."

"I am obviously very disappointed. I thought that I was making a good second start but it clearly wasn't good enough as I was passed by two cars which is something that has never happened before. There was a re-fuelling problem on my first stop as the fuel rig would not engage on the car and they had to take it off, reset it and start again, all of which takes time. Things then went from bad to worse and I ended up having four pit stops. All in all not a very good day but at least I scored a point finishing in sixth."
