Свободные заезды (пятница):
"It was good to have the opportunity to practice in both wet and dry conditions
and it was no surprise that the new surface here in Hungary was very slippery in the rain
this morning. We managed to complete some very good set up work on the car and we are
enthusiastic about tomorrow."
Квалификация (суббота):
"Of course I am pleased to be starting the race from pole position, which is
particularly important at this track. It can be a difficult circuit as the inside and
outside of the track gets very dusty and if you go off the line, which is often the case
when overtaking, you lack grip and this means you loose a lot of time which can only be
regained after a number of corners. So starting from the front will help that situation.
The whole qualifying session was interesting as we continued to work on the set up of the
car but in the last ten minutes the strong winds meant that we were not able to go any
further. That said I think we have a good package for the race tomorrow."
Гонка (воскресение):
"The start of the race was good for me, I had David in my mirrors all the time so
I was driving more or less flat out, but I felt quite comfortable about that. Then I
decided to push even harder just before my first tyre stop and I built up a little gap.
The first tyre change was perfect but a short while before the second stop I started to
experience what felt like oversteer, but I wasn't one hundred per cent sure what the
problem was. After the second tyre stop the car was impossible to drive, especially over
the bumps and through the corners. So, we will have to wait until the team have checked
the car before we really know what the problem was."
